CAREER HIGHLIGHT(S):
A media conglomerate that includes a film production company (Rotana Studios), free-to-air television stations (Rotana TV), music channels (Rotana Radio), a record label (Rotana Music Group), and other businesses. As the region's biggest buyer of Arab films, Rotana has focused on licensing content to other regional streaming platforms rather than competing directly against them and has hatched a partnership deal with MBC Group to make its TV channels available on-demand to Shahid VIP subscribers. In collaboration with Paris-based OTT platform Alchimie, they operate the SVOD movie channel AflamPlusTV across Europe.

Throughout 2023, Rotana has been involved in various partnerships, including an agreement to add Podeo, the prominent podcast platform in the Middle East & North Africa, to its media representation portfolio, covering Radio, TV, Streaming, and Outdoor. The multi-year agreement designates Rotana as the advertising representative for Podeo, connecting more than 50,000 creators and publishers on the platform with a diverse range of sponsors and advertisers. Rotana is also involved in a new mega investment fund, Big Time, which aims to support and enhance the quality of Arabic content in production, distribution, and filmmaking.
