One of Egypt’s sweethearts, Mona is renowned for her wide range, acting in everything from romantic comedies to more dramatic and human projects with contemporary social impact. Among her latest titles was Netflix’s Arab adaptation of PERFECT STRANGERS in 2022, which put her at the center of a controversy for her daring portrayal of an everyday wife who is cheating on her husband with a stranger she met online. She followed this up by working on a string of intense yet widely-loved projects, including Tamer Mohsen’s Ramadan drama NEWTON’S CRADLE, action flick THE SPIDER, and the Ramadan 2023 series UNDER GUARDIANSHIP.
