A Monaco-based non-profit, non-governmental organization, the International Emerging Film Talent Association (IEFTA) organizes, finances, and promotes festivals, exhibitions, education, and development.
The IEFTA participated in AFLAMUNA Connection last April, during which two IEFTA Alumni filmmakers - Amir El-Shenawy and Aya Yusuf - received awards. Aya previously won AMD’s IEFTA Emerging Talent Award at this year’s Global Entertainment Awards. At the Thessaloniki International Film Festival in March 2024, Director Hana Elias and Producer Asmahan Bkerat (Palestine) won the €10,000 prize for the IEFTA Best Doc in Development Award at the Thessaloniki Pitching Forum.
