CAREER HIGHLIGHT(S):
Founded in 2014, Filmlab Palestine (FP) was inspired by its founders' personal experience in empowering Palestinian youths in refugee camps in Jordan through a film literacy and talent program, strengthening their own personal narratives. Based on this expertise, FP aims to expand and cultivate the cinema culture within Palestine while providing much-needed technical and artistic support for emerging Palestinian filmmakers, encouraging youths to use their creative thinking and engaging the local public.

TWELVE-MONTH HIGHLIGHT(S):
Amid the Israeli aggression on Gaza and the West Bank, the Palestine Cinema Days Festival canceled its 10th edition, which was scheduled in October 2023. Instead, FP launched the Palestine Cinema Days Around the World Festival, which consists of over 90 screenings in more than 40 cities worldwide, marking the 106th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration.
