Farah Nabulsi is an Oscar-nominated and BAFTA award-winning filmmaker and human rights advocate. Her directorial debut, THE PRESENT, which she also co-wrote and produced, premiered at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival 2020 and won the coveted Audience Award for Best Film. It also won over 50 Awards, including a BAFTA Award, and an Oscar Nomination.

THE TEACHER is Farah’s directorial fiction feature-length debut, starring Palestinian actor, Saleh Bakri and British actress Imogen Poots. It had its World Premiere at the 2023 TIFF within the Discovery Program. THE TEACHER won the Jury Prize at the 3rd edition of the RSIFF in Saudi, and Bakri was also awarded the Best Actor accolade.
