CAREER HIGHLIGHT(S):
The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra), powered by Saudi Aramco, has been a springboard for many great talents in the kingdom’s fast-evolving filmmaking industry. Ithra is the driving force behind several programs supporting filmmaking in Saudi. It is home to Saudi Film Production, Saudi Film Days, and the Ithra Film Society. Ithra has also teamed up with the Cinema Society in Dhahran to introduce programs and initiatives designed to aid the development of the film sector in the kingdom and help local industry professionals.

TWELVE-MONTH HIGHLIGHT(S):
During the last edition of the Cannes Film Festival, Ithra launched a new film fund to attract international filmmakers to shoot fully financed movies in the kingdom. Ithra also produced the feature film Abu Bakr Shawky's HAJJAN, which premiered at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival.
