CAREER HIGHLIGHT(S):
The Moroccan Center for Cinematography (CCM) — originally titled Centre Cinématographique Marocain — was established in 1944 concurrently with Morocco’s Manifesto of Independence. Thus, it is one of the world’s oldest public establishments for regulating and promoting the film industry. The CCM’s primary missions include regulating and inspecting the various film sectors (production, distribution, exploitation), regulating and inspecting audiovisual production, supporting the film industry, promoting Moroccan films, and maintaining the archive of film heritage.

TWELVE-MONTH HIGHLIGHT(S):
While celebrating its 80th anniversary, the CCM increased its contribution to Moroccan-supported films to 30%.
