Prominent producer Rula Nasser’s Imaginarium Films had much reason to celebrate in 2022 when its production, HOLY SPIDER, by Ali Abbasi, was shortlisted as Denmark’s entry for Best International Feature Film at the Academy Awards.
The film was a big hit at the Stockholm Film Festival, where it won the Bronze Horse for Best Film and Best Male Actor for Mehdi Bajestani's portrayal of serial killer Saeed Hanaei.

Already among the most active producers in the Arab world, Rula comes
to Cannes this year as a co-writer of Amjad Al Rasheed’s debut, INCHALLAH A BOYD . The film will play in
the festival's Critics' Week, becoming the first ever Jordanian feature film to be selected by the French
film festival.
