TWELVE-MONTH HIGHLIGHT(S):
JCC is technically the oldest film festival still active in the Arab world and Africa. What
began as a biennial event in Tunis established itself as an annual fixture in 2014. Despite being held in a city lacking exhibition
infrastructure, JCC can also claim to be the most popular audience festival in the Arab world, with fans lining up outside. The
34th edition dates are not announced yet and may be moved earlier in October to avoid Arab festival traffic jams in November.
