As the region's biggest buyer of Arab films, so far, Rotana’s focus is on licensing content to other regional streaming platforms rather than competing directly against them, hatching partnership deals with Wide Khaliji and another with MBC Group to make its TV channels available on-demand to Shahid VIP subscribers. In collaboration with Paris-based OTT platform Alchimie, they operate the SVOD movie channel AflamPlusTV across Europe.
