In collaboration with MAD Solutions, Netflix has launched a specially curated collection
of 21 Arab films titled ‘Because She Created’ featuring movies by Arab female filmmakers to amplify their creative voices.
In terms of Arabic originals, Netflix streamed its first Saudi film ALKHALLAT+ — which is based on the successful Saudi series on
YouTube — along with the second season of MASAEER, ALRAWABI SCHOOL FOR GIRLS, in addition to its first Omani series
SCATTERED BARRIERS. It also launched several training programs for women writers and Saudi filmmakers.
