Muayad Alayan is a Palestinian director, producer, and cinematographer. He is known for LOVE, THEFT, AND OTHER ENTANGLEMENTS (2015) and THE REPORTS ON SARAH AND SALEEM (2018).
His film A HOUSE IN JERUSALEM premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2023. The supernatural drama is about a young girl’s enigmatic quest to unravel the mystery around her new home. Alayan returned to Berlin with his upcoming feature project O LITTLE TOWN OF BETHLEHEM, which was selected for the 2023 Berlinale Co-Production Market
