features that both filmed in Saudi Arabia: DESERT WARRIOR, starring Anthony Mackie; and KANDAHAR, starring Gerard Butler.
She’s highly active in commissioning homegrown content too, including the big-budget fantasy-adventure series, RISE OF THE
WITCHES. Recently, Zeinab was selected as one of Variety’s Impactful International Women of 2023.

Abu Alsamh, who previously was the chief commercial officer of the Saudi
Broadcasting Authority, is responsible for overseeing all Saudi content and development projects for
MBC Studios, the in-house production arm of the Saudi-owned free-to-air network giant MBC, as well as
expanding the content production industry in the kingdom.

MAD MEN and BREAKING BAD, Christina has now been appointed managing director of MBC Studios, the

MBC Studios’ ongoing work in expanding the reach of its content to audiences around the world, leveraging
the continuous trend for non-English-language television content to reach more global markets.
