Maryam is best known for her critically acclaimed film ADAM (2019) — Morocco’s entry for the 92nd Academy Awards for Best International Feature Film.

TWELVE-MONTH HIGHLIGHT(S):
Her film THE BLUE CAFTAN premiered at Cannes last year in Un Certain Regard, where it won a FIPRESCI prize. It went on to win more than 10 awards from various festivals, such as Chicago, Marrakech, and Vancouver. The film was also Morocco’s submission for the 95th Academy Awards.
