A bona fide Arab acting superstar, Hend has featured in Arab Cinema Magazine’s Golden 101 List every year since it began being published - a testament to her enduring popularity in an award-winning career that began when she was 14 and has now spanned more than 50 projects in film, TV and radio.
In 2022 Hend enjoyed huge success at the Egyptian box office with Marwan Hamed’s KIRA & EL GIN, and with FADEL & NEAMA alongside Maged El-Kidwani. Her 2023 looks just as promising: she has the starring role in Kaouther Ben Hania’s FOUR DAUGHTERS which was selected as part of the Main Competition of this month’s Cannes Film Festival; she is waiting for the release of the Egyptian action film THE SQUADRON; and preparing the second season of Netflix’s FINDING OLA, a series which inspired its own fashion line featuring her distinctive style. As a mark of her international recognition Hend has just signed with Hollywood talent agency CAA for representation.
