CAREER HIGHLIGHT(S):
Al-Banawi belongs to a generation of burgeoning Saudi talents propelled by their passion for art and cinema. She has portrayed everything from a naive newlywed in the short GOIN’ SOUTH, and a Parisian actress from the 70s in the feature film ROLL ’EM to a rebellious fashionista in BARAKAH MEETS BARAKAH which marked the first Saudi submission to the Oscars.

TWELVE-MONTH HIGHLIGHT(S):
Fatima recently wrapped shooting on her feature directorial debut BASMA, which was supported by the Red Sea Festival. She also starred in Omar Naim’s thriller on the road ROUTE 10 in 2022 and Abdulelah Alqurashi’s feature film ALHAMOUR H. A, which was released with huge success this year in both Saudi and Egyptian cinemas. She has just started shooting her role in AHLAM ALASR for director Faris Godus (THE BOOK OF SUN).
