TWELVE-MONTH HIGHLIGHT(S):
A film agency established in early 2020 by the Royal Commission for Al Ula (RCU) with a mandate to promote and support international, regional, and local film and TV production whilst protecting and safeguarding Al Ula — a region of outstanding natural and cultural significance in northern west Saudi Arabia. The growth in the TV and film productions that were filmed in Al Ula during the past and current year included 12 tv series, eight documentaries, 38 commercials, and a feature film.
