UMS has launched a new documentary channel, Al-Wathaeqya, on the Nilesat satellite besides streaming its homemade documentaries on its own SVOD platform Watch It. Also, journalist Sherif Saeed has been appointed to head a first-of-its-kind channel and Ahmed Al-Deriny is now in charge of the Documentary Production Division.
