Since 1991, Alessandra has been the artistic director of the African, Asian and Latin America Film Festival of Milan. She has also worked as a programmer for many international film festivals such as Locarno, San Sebastian and Venice Film Festival. Since 2013 she has been a correspondent for Africa and Arab countries for the Final Cut in Venice.
One of the few events to support Arab (and African) films in the post-production phase, Final Cut is a workshop that takes place every year during the Venice Film Festival as part of its Production Bridge. The 11th edition of the workshop will take place from September 3rd to 5th 2023. There will be opportunities for networking, encounters and meetings in which directors and producers will be able to engage with the participants in the workshop
