CAREER HIGHLIGHT(S):
She started her career in 2010 and shortly after won the Best Arab Actress Award for her role in Merzak Allouache’s The REPENTANT (2012) at the Cairo Film Festival. She also starred in the anti-harassment horror short KINDIL El BAHR (2016) which premiered in Cannes as part of Directors’ Fortnight.

TWELVE-MONTH HIGHLIGHT(S):
Her latest role in the 16th-century drama THE LAST QUEEN, which she also produced and co-wrote, premiered at the Venice Film Festival last year and then brought her the Best Actress Award at the Red Sea Festival.
