Founded in 2019 in Jeddah as Saudi Arabia’s first home-grown movie chain, Muvi Cinemas has grown dramatically in the last three years and now claims 195 screens across the KSA across 21 locations, including the country’s largest cinema, the 25-screen complex at Riyadh Boulevard City, and the first with a 4DX screen. Muvi revealed in March that it is also planning an initial public offering that would make it the first movie chain to list on the Nomu market with an expected valuation of $800 million. Muvi has content partnerships with Front Row and Riyadh-based digital media studio Telfaz11.
