Already among the most active producers in the Arab world, Rula arrives in Cannes as the executive producer in Jordan of two films selected for the festival: main competition contender HOLY SPIDER by Iranian director Ali Abbasi; and the Midnight Screenings thriller REBEL by the Hollywood filmmaking duo of Moroccan descent, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, about a Moroccan boy growing up in a tough Brussels neighborhood. Rula is one the main producers of Bassel Ghandour’s THE ALLEYS and she just finished shooting Amjad Al Rasheed’s feature debut, INCHALLA WALAD, distributed by MAD Solutions and Lagoonie Film Production.
