Another French boutique production and sales house that handles the occasional Arab feature film, Indie Sales is handling world sales of Ali Cherri’s directorial debut THE DAM, which will premiere in Directors Fortnight in Cannes this year. Made with the involvement of France, Lebanon, Sudan, Qatar, Germany and Serbia, the drama is set against the backdrop of the 2018 Sudanese revolution and revolves around a brickyard worker who secretly wanders into the desert every evening to build a mysterious construction made of mud.
