The Arab world’s most successful filmmaker with a string of blockbuster hits including CAPERNAUM, Nadine’s success this year came from her performances in front the camera, rather than behind. She is the among the headline performers in two high-profile Arab films: Mounia Akl’s COSTA BRAVA, LEBANON which premiered in Venice; and the Arabic remake of the Italian feature PERFECT STRANGERS that was made for Netflix. She also stars in Tamer Ruggli’s upcoming Egyptian road movie BACK TO ALEXANDRIA opposite Fanny Ardent. As director, she made one episode of Netflix’s HOMEMADE co-directed by her husband the composer Khaled Mouzanar.
