Company founder Marie-Pierre started her career at the Cinémathèque Francaise before becoming Director of the Cannes sidebar Directors’ Fortnight where she discovered and presented the debut films of Carlos Reygadas, Sofia Coppola, Cristi Puiu and Cristian Mungiu. She has since been involved in several Arab projects including Mahmoud Sabbagh’s Saudi feature BARAKAH MEETS BARAKAH and Firas Khoury’s debut film THE FLAG (ALAM), a coming-of-age portrait of Palestinian teens living in Israel that was among the buzziest offerings at the Cairo Film Connection. Also in production is Karim Aïnouz documentary NARDJES A. that follows a popular pacifist uprising on the streets of Algiers in 2019.
