Nazareth-born Maisa is one of Palestine’s fastest rising stars as a result of Instagram stardom, modeling career and an acting talent that saw roles in Netflix’s THE ANGEL and also TEL AVIV ON FIRE and THE REPORTS ON SARAH AND SALEEM. This year, she will be seen in two more major Arab films - THE ALLEYS (Jordan) and HUDA’S SALON (Palestine), which was just released in the U.S. through IFC Films after a divisive response at home – but also in the darkly comic crime series NAFAS about three Palestinian students who travel to Tel Aviv in 2008 to establish a new and free Palestinian community for themselves.
