Heshem, who has written the music for more than 40 award-winning and blockbusting films over a career spanning two decades, became the first composer to win the Faten Hamama Excellence Award at the Cairo International Film Festival in 2018. Last November, he was honoured again at the prestigious Arab Music Festival in recognition of his work on PHARAOH’s GOLDEN and now he is making his Hollywood debut composing the music for the Marvel mini-series MOON KNIGHT, being directed by fellow Egyptian Mohamed Diab. Heshem is currently working now on the music of KIRA & El GIN, a project that reunites him with Marwan Hamed.
