Having secured international rights to Hany Abu-Assad’s HUDA’S SALON, Memento then struck a great domestic distribution deal on the provocative film with IFC Films in the U.S, leading to its recent release in theatres and its VOD platform there. Among new projects on its world sales slate is BOYS FROM HEAVEN, the fourth feature from Swedish-Egyptian director Tarik Saleh that is a political thriller set in a Koranic school in Cairo. With a budget of 6.5 million Euros it is Saleh’s biggest film to date.
