The trailblazing doyenne of Tunisian cinema keeps continuing her long run of success. Her first Egyptian co-production SOUAD earned Cannes label in 2020, premiered in Berlinale 2021 and won the best actress award from Tribeca. GHODWA, the directorial debut of the Tunisian actor Dhafer L’Abidine which she co-produced, premiered at the Cairo International Film Festival. And she’s currently in production on her third highly anticipated film with Mohamed bin Attia, the Tunisian director behind the award-winning films INHEBEK HEDI and WELDI.
