Andrei Kamarowsky
Acting CEO of Gulf Film
Gulf Film, established in 1989, remains one of the biggest distributors of English-language films across the Arab world (releasing around 100 titles every year) through its long-standing partnerships with suppliers such as MGM Studios and STX. Recent titles include HOUSE OF GUCCI, THE ADDAMS FAMILY 2 and the latest James Bond movie NO TIME TO KILL, with Liam Neeson’s MEMORY about to open. While the company expressed plans to produce Arab films, this has yet to materialize and there are no indications of a future path in that direction. The company also operates the Novo Cinemas chain that has 238 screens across 23 locations in the UAE, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain.
