In 2021, Ahmed became the first Egyptian nominee for Australian Academy of Cinema & Television Arts Award ( AACTA) in the male leading actor category for his performance in the Australian film THE FURNACE. He finished shooting of Netflix’s film THE SWIMMERS by Sally El Hosaini, and had a great success with two TV series in Egypt: BIMBO on the VIP Shahid platform and INVESTIGATION on WatchIT platform. If that’s not enough, he has roles in the two big commercial Egyptian films that have just been release, KIRA & EL GEN and WAHED TANY, and is taking time off this year to study acting at RADA London.
