Zaid is the only major exhibition player in Iraq, a country where he has devoted himself to reviving cinema after decades of dictatorship and war had scared off moviegoing. Having found many multiplexes, he opened the first ever IMAX cinema in the Baghdad Mall. Zaid supports many Iraqi films, attends all key festivals (Cannes, Berlin, Toronto) and planning to be a co-producer on selective Arab titles. Current releases include Hollywood blockbusters such as F9: THE FAST SAGA, LUCA and A QUIET PLACE PART II.
