Established in 2017 as an Egyptian film production company, Shahinaz’s Lagoonie has embarked on a new pan-Arab direction. The company co-produced FEATHERS, the Egyptian film premiering in Cannes, with partners from Egypt, France, Netherlands and Greece; the Jordanian film THE ALLEYS that is premiering next month in Locarno; and the Palestinian HUDA’S SALON. She is also active with TV projects and domestic Egyptian films including the latest by Amr Salama, the comedy BARA EL MANHAG.
