Salim has been known until now for films like TEL AVIV ON FIRE and his role as a spiritual leader Sheikh Awadalla in the Netflix series FAUDA. More recently, Salim enjoyed success and exposure with the starring role as a fisherman in the Nasser brothers’ GAZA MON AMOUR that won him many awards. He was also in the 2021 HBO film OSLO about the secret back-channel meetings between Palestinians and Israelis that led to the Oslo Peace Accords in 1993.
