Working as an actor before making his television directorial debut in 1999, Nejib directed the short film TSAWER (2005), the award-winning documentary VHS-KAHLOUCHA (2006), and the feature BASTARDO (2013) before really breaking out last year with his feature LOOK AT ME that premiered at the Toronto film festival. He has just finished post-production on his new feature COMMUNION, a lockdown drama in which a humanitarian works from home helping people in distress during the Covid-19 crisis while her psychotic husband finds himself without medication. The film was one of the winning projects at last year’s MAFF Market Forum in Sweden
