The most active Moroccan producer, Lamia’s established her company in Casablanca in 2007, having worked in France as a line producer in the advertising industry for nine years. Her new film, MICA by Ismael Ferroukhi has been well receiving, winning awards at the El Gouna Film Festival. She’s finishing her documentary production SCHOOL OF HOPE and working on the 14-episode pan-Arab supernatural horror TV series MESKOUN with filmmaker Hicham Lasri on board as showrunner. The series unites here with three other producers on this list, Egypt’s Mohamed Hefzy, Lebanon’s Georges Shoucair and Tunisia’s Habib Attia.
