While COVID has obviously been detrimental to cinema business around the world, that has not stopped chains such as VOX from planning for the future. The fastest growing cinema chain in the Middle East, with 58 cinemas and 615 screens across eight markets, VOX recently opened Qatar’s most luxurious cinema at Doha Oasis, a state-of-the-art multiplex that includes a bowling alley. Before COVID hit, VOX also started distributing more films including those coming through its three-way production partnership with Image Nation and MBC Studios.
