One of the icons of Egyptian cinema, Yousra is about to make her cinema comeback after an absence of 7 years in a film written by Ibrahim Issa (MAWLANA). She’s on the advisory board of El Gouna Film Festival and Screen Buzz and is a board member of the new Kemet Boutrous Ghali Foundation, an organization for Peace and Knowledge. Her duo song with Abu (played in El Gouna Film Festival in 2017) scored a record 450 million hit on YouTube. There’s even a Korean version.
