Both the Arab films appearing in last year’s competition
section at Cannes – YOMEDDINE and CAPERNAUM
– were handled by Wild Bunch. And now this
year, the French powerhouse sales company is handling
the one Arab film in competiton, Elia Sulieman’s
IT MUST BE HEAVEN. After months of financial uncertainty,
Wild Bunch unveiled a restructuring plan in
July that reduced the company’s sets and set a new
course for growth after a decade of retrenchment.
