Working as an actor before making his television directorial debut in 1999, Nejib directed the short film TSAWER (2005), the award-winning documentary VHS-KAHLOUCHA (2006), and the feature BASTARDO (2013) before really breaking out last year with his feature LOOK AT ME that premiered at the Marrakech Film Festival. The story of a small-time thug who must go back home to reclaim custody of his nine-year-old autistic son, LOOK AT ME was loved by the Toronto audiences at TIFF when it played there in September.
