In September last year, Kais became only the second Arab to win Best Actor at the Venice Film Festival (for TEL AVIV ON FIRE) in the Horizons section. A well-known Palestinian actor living in Tel Aviv, Kais played one of the two brothers in PARADISE NOW and had a supporting role in Ridley Scott’s BODY OF LIES.
