The most active writer in Egypt and the Arab world, Ahmed’s novels are extremely popular bestsellers and screenplays have always met with box office success thanks to his collaborations with director Marwan Hamed. Their cinematic partnership bega with adaptations of his books THE BLUE ELEPHANT, THE ORIGINALS and DIAMOND DUST and is now continuing with the sequel BLUE ELEPHANT 2 (which for the first time is not based on one of his novels, but rather an original script). Ahmed is now working on what will be his fifth film with Marwan when it starts shooting at the end of this year.
