Presented by the prestigious BBC Arabic, the BBC Arabic Festival is an annual week-long event dedicated to short films and documentaries concerning the ongoing social and political changes happening in the Arab world. The festival is taking place at the iconic art-deco Radio Theatre at BBC's Broadcasting House in central London, UK. The festival’s main competition is judged by a panel of journalism and film experts and practitioners. The festival main focus is short films and documentary films; fiction and non-fiction ones and lately a new category has been added which is digital journalism. However, the festival’s competition is also open for feature documentaries.
