Bringing talented filmmakers from around the world together, Blowup Film FEST is an annual festival that is open to narrative, musical and documentary films, shorts, animations, experimental films, and student work. The festival supports the first-time talented filmmakers from around the world as well as the experienced and established ones. It offers different awards, including Best Feature Film, Best Narrative Short, Best Documentary Feature, Best Documentary Short, Best Experimental Film, Best Animation and Best Student Film for the main categories and other Special Awards such as Best of Fest, Best Film Made in Chicago and Best Director.
