The Emirati director made his directorial debut in 2015 with ZINZANA: RATTLE THE CAGE, a crime thriller that was picked up by IM Global for worldwide sales and then sold to Netflix as the streaming platform’s first ever Arab film acquisition. Majid did not stop there. In 2019, he was executive producer of Shahad Ameen’s Saudi feminist fable SCALES, which was KSA’s foreign-language submission to the 2021 Oscars. He returned to directing with PARANORMAL, the Netflix original series on which he helmed 3 episodes, along with the Egyptian director Amr Salama.
