The first female Arab director to have her film selected for the Cannes main competition since Heiny Srour in 1974, Nadine went on to win last year’s Jury Prize here for CAPERNAUM and then made more history by becoming the first female Arab director to have her film nominated for an Oscar, a Bafta and a Golden Globe. Nadine has more than 2 million followers on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and is this year’s Un Certain Regard jury president at Cannes, where she is also up for three ACC Critics Awards prizes.
