As the head of Europe’s largest film festival focusing on Arab cinema, Mohamed has opened a new door of opportunity for Arab filmmakers. More than just an exhibition window, MAFF actively catalyzes co-productions, helping films such as Tunisia’s BEAUTY AND THE DOGS get made after finding its Swedish co-producer in Malmo. He has also distributed some Arab films in Sweden, enjoying his biggest success there with the Lebanese film SOLITAIRE.
