Synopsis:

Paying tribute to the golden age of Egyptian cinema, Into Studio Masr chronicles the history of Studio Masr that was once Egypt’s center of cinematic enlightenment for decades, since its inauguration in 1935. Being offered for privatization in 2000, a team of young cinema enthusiasts takes on the responsibility to retake its glory through signing a 20-year contract with the state. Before privatization and after are two different chapters of the studio and Egypt’s cinematic history.
