The film is an ode to all refugees in the world who are searching for a sense of identity and belonging. Through multiple diverse and complex characters from Sudan; an intricate mosaic of their lives unfolds, painting a vivid reality of what it is like to be a refugee. The film follows four main characters who reveal not only their complex lives but the lives of their friends and family as they all navigate a state of slumber and anxiety in living as shadows while holding on to their Sudanese culture and identity.
