With a focus on the Mediterranean countries, Alexandria International Film Festival aims to promote film culture and empower the relations between filmmakers throughout the world. The festival takes place in August/September every year, and the official competition is open for all Arab feature, documentary and short films along with the competition of “Mohamed Bayoumy” for the Alexandrian short films. The festival also features an out of competition panorama for Egyptian feature films.
